November key inflation tracker up just 1.5 percent year-on-year

The November PCE price index increased 0.2 percent from October and 1.5 percent year-on-year. Excluding food and energy, the PCE price index increased 0.1 percent from October and 1.6 percent year-on-year.

Both personal income and personal spending rose moderately in November

Both overall personal income and disposable income (minus taxes) increased 0.5 percent in November, while personal consumption expenditures (PCE) rose 0.4 percent.  The personal savings rate remained steady at 7.8 percent.
